Peninsula Iron Works (PIW) is a family-owned and operated full-service machining, fabrication, and engineering company based in Portland, Oregon. Established in 1917, PIW initially served the wood products industry and later supported the timber industry with a range of equipment including sawmill carriages, lumber handling equipment, and the first chain saw. During WWI and WWII, PIW contributed to the war effort by producing essential components like hand grenade casings. Today, PIW specializes in tackling complex projects that others can't handle, offering unique solutions with one of the largest machining part envelopes on the west coast.
