Potter Lumber has been serving the hardwood lumber industry since 1910, evolving from a water-powered sawmill to today's advanced double cut bandsaw operation. Located in the Allegany mountains, they harvest private and public timber lots, buy and sell hardwood logs year-round, and produce high-quality grade hardwood lumber using proven sawmill practices and drying techniques. Potter Lumber is a member of The Baillie Group and operates with a double cut band mill with a gang edger, 6 kilns, and equipment like the Newman Planer 282. Primary species include Ash, Cherry, Hard Maple, Poplar, Red Oak, Soft Maple, and White Oak, with primary thicknesses of 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, and 8/4.
