The IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) is a technical society and council under IEEE, with a history dating back to 1952. EDS has around 9,000 members globally and sponsors technical periodicals, supports technical meetings, and has its own business office. The Society is governed by a Constitution and Bylaws administered by a Board of Governors. EDS focuses on advancing technology in the field of electron devices through various programs, conferences, publications, and educational activities.
