Shoreline Hometown Credit Union has served members since 1941 and was originally formed by a small group of employees from the Hamilton Manufacturing Company of Two Rivers. The Hamilton Employees Credit Union was run by part-time volunteers from a corner of the companys personnel department. Later on, space was rented in a downtown building as the credit union grew. Shoreline currently has three locations in Manitowoc, Two Rivers, and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Today, Shoreline Credit Union is a hometown financial institution headquartered in Manitowoc County and is a member-owned, non-profit financial cooperative serving approximately 10,000 members in nine counties Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago, Door, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan, in Wisconsin. We are members of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an independent federal agency that charters and supervises federal credit unions. All member deposits are insured by the NCUA. Shoreline is considered well capitalized according to NCUA standards. Our mission is to help our members achieve financial success. We achieve this by providing members with a safe place to save and borrow at reasonable rates. We excel at this by remaining committed to employing an honest, knowledgeable staff whose focus is one member at a time. At Shoreline Credit Union, we have always been a supporter of our community. We demonstrate this commitment by volunteering, serving on community charitable boards, giving, and sponsorships. . Our employees give generously of their time and resources. Whether its involvement in Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Kiwanis, Noon Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, or the Salvation Army, Shoreline people are there to help out our business community and the less fortunate among us.
